The second generation of the mid-size luxury crossover Lincoln Nautilus is expected to be coming to you with extensive changes for the new model year. Reports indicate that it will be a massive update, including an available 310-horsepower hybrid powertrain, standard all-wheel drive and a cabin with enormous amounts of screen space. The base engine will still be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and the new chassis will give you more legroom than before. Here are some more highlights of the new Lincoln Nautilus that's coming soon to Forester Lincoln in Chambersburg PA.
COMING SOON TO FORRESTER: THE NEW 2024 LINCOLN NAUTILUS
The All New Lincoln Nautilus
What's new for 2024?
The new Lincoln Nautilus comes with a significant redesign both inside and out. The new Nautilus is reportedly going to be riding on a revised version of Ford's C2 platform and you should be able to choose a new hybrid powertrain with 310 horsepower. In addition, all-wheel drive now comes as a standard feature across the lineup.
Trim levels
For 2024, the new Lincoln Nautilus will give buyers from Hagerstown, MD and Gettysburg, PA a total of six trims to choose from:
- Premiere
- Premiere Hybrid
- Reserve
- Reserve Hybrid
- Black Label
- Black Label Hybrid

Engines and Performance
No matter which trim you choose, every Nautilus will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood. In the non-hybrid models, that translates into 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the hybrid model, the four-cylinder engine gets teamed up with a 100-kilowatt electric motor to create a total output of 310 horsepower. The hybrid uses a continuously variable transmission and both powertrains come with all-wheel drive. While we don't yet have official acceleration metrics, we're hoping the current generation can match the previous model's ability to reach 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds.
Anticipated fuel economy
There's no official word on fuel economy estimates for the new 2024 Nautilus but we're hopeful that the next generation can do at least as well as the previous models. That would mean the base engine would get you about 22 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway. The Nautilus hybrid is expected to come in at roughly 37 MPG on the city and 33 MPG on highways around Carlisle and Waynesboro, PA.
Interior Design and Comfort
The cabin of the new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus has been transformed in a way Nautilus fans will find positively breathtaking. The cockpit has been redesigned to give you more leather, bigger screens and ambient lighting. An available option in the new Nautilus is Lincoln Rejuvenate, a special feature that adjusts the interior lighting, seat position and massaging-seat settings to help passengers relax. Three scent cartridges in the center armrest produce aromas that range from cashmere to fresh linen.
The new Nautilus is also expected to offer available 24-way power-adjustable seats. Standard interior features include a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, 10-way adjustable heated and ventilated seats and remote keyless entry.
Infotainment technology
The new Lincoln Nautilus comes with a huge 48.0-inch display area across the top of the dashboard. In addition to the wide screen, there's a high-resolution 11.1-inch infotainment display in the center of the dash. Wireless smartphone connectivity comes standard and you can upgrade to an available Revel Ultima premium 3D stereo system with 28 speakers.
