The Lincoln Nautilus is a mid-size luxury crossover that has proven itself since it was first launched in 2019. As it enters its second generation, the Nautilus now gets substantial changes for the 2024 model year. The transformation is remarkable, including the addition of an available hybrid powertrain with 310 horsepower, standard all-wheel drive and an interior display with massive amounts of screen space. There’s more legroom than in the previous model and the price is more affordable than you might expect. Here's a high-level look at the new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus at Forrester Lincoln in Chambersburg, PA.
Performance
Every 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine as part of the powertrain. In non-hybrid Nautilus models you’ll be getting 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, all managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 310-horsepower hybrid version runs with a continuously variable transmission and both powertrains include standard all-wheel drive. The V6 engine has been dropped so the four-cylinder fuel efficiency is better, especially with the hybrid model.
Fuel economy
The new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will deliver 21 MPG in urban areas and 29 MPG when you’re on the highway. In the hybrid version, the latest version of the Nautilus should provide 37 miles with every gallon in the city and 33 MPG on Hagerstown, MD and Gettysburg highways. For a mid-size luxury SUV, those are outstanding numbers.
The interior
The new Lincoln Nautilus has a cabin with some significant upgrades. The interior has been through a complete makeover to give you more leather, bigger displays and sophisticated ambient lighting. The new Nautilus offers an optional Lincoln Rejuvenate system that can adjust the interior lighting, your seat position and even provide a massaging function to enhance your overall comfort. The new Nautilus also offers 24-way power-adjustable seats and an optional premium sound system with 28 speakers.
Other luxury touches include a standard leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, remote keyless entry and 10-way adjustable heated and ventilated ventilated seats. The new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is built with 37.2 cubic feet of space in back of the rear seats and 68.8 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats down. For a mid-size luxury SUV, those are exceptional stats.
Exterior highlights
The latest edition of the Lincoln Nautilus displays a greater sense of purpose that’s reflected in the exterior design. The Nautilus has undergone a clean-sheet redesign, expressing the comforting essence of the ocean in its horizontal contours. The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus now has new LED headlamps and taillamps, your choice of four attractive grilles and a distinctive exterior contrast in the optional Jet Appearance Package.
Technology
The Lincoln Nautilus for 2024 comes with an enormous 48.0-inch display that travels across the top of the dashboard, providing the biggest dimensions in the class. Along with the extra-wide screen you’ll be looking at a high-resolution 11.1-inch infotainment touch screen t in the center of the dashboard. The new Lincoln Nautilus includes standard wireless smartphone connectivity and an Alexa voice command system as an optional upgrade.
Trim levels
The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus gives buyers from Carlisle PA and Waynesboro a total of three trims to choose from: Premiere, Hybrid and Reserve.
