Two Lincoln models have earned 2017 Top Safety Picks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety: The Lincoln MKZ and the Lincoln MKX. According to media.lincoln.com, the Lincoln MKZ earned its Top Safety Pick in the Midsize Luxury Car category, and the Lincoln MKX earned it in the Midsize Luxury SUV category. Both of these winning models were equipped with an available Front Crash Prevention system, which earned an advance rating in testing, and it was thanks to this added prevention, and both vehicles’ high grade in all five crashworthiness tests, that earned each the title of Top Safety Pick.
Beyond the front crash prevention system, these vehicles are also available with driver-assist technologies, and a Blind Spot Information System.
