Everyone deserve an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams. This is the premise of Nina Shaw's career. Shaw is an entertainment attorney in Hollywood and the subject of a recent Lincoln Now article. In it, she discusses her philosophy and the current state of media.
“We’re in a media revolution spurred by the growth of the Internet," she says, "by the increasing growth of an individual’s ability to express themselves. We now have people who sit in their bedrooms and make product that is interesting and provocative, and in a sense, empowering. I love the idea that, to a certain extent, the barriers to entry have been lessened and, as a result, we’re seeing all kinds of interesting people make their way in ways that we couldn’t have imagined even five years ago.”
