Brett Bishop is an oyster farmer. Yes, an oyster farmer. He's the fifth generation of his family to run Little Skookum Shellfish Growers in Puget Sound. And in spite of the occasional very late nights bordering on early morning, he wouldn't have it any other way.

Says Brett: “Any farmer, any craftsman who makes things with their hands, would have to feel fulfilled when something that you’ve made comes out perfect. It—there’s just no way to make it any better. The rest would be up to nature, but we did everything a human hand could do. And that’s an act of creation that’s fulfilling, stimulating, and that doesn’t change day to day, week to week, year to year, decade to decade."

Once you've read the full article about Brett, embedded above, and pondered a career change for an appropriate amount of time, come out to Forrester Lincoln at 832 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg and take a new Lincoln for a spin.
