The Lincoln lineup will be growing with an upcoming midsize SUV!

In case you weren't following the New York International Auto Show that took place March 30th through April 8th, Lincoln is reviving a nameplate with the upcoming 2019 Lincoln Aviator midsize SUV!

If you've been a buyer (or fan) of the Lincoln brand for some time, you might remember the original Lincoln Aviator. Its first generation was, admittedly, short-lived and took place from 2003-2005. Even though tastes have changed in the past 10+ years, we believe the upcoming model—which we expect to be very close to the version on scene in New York—has a much more elegant and sophisticated look with an imposing SUV stance and swopping character lines that Lincoln Design Director, David Woodhouse, says will remind you of a bird or plane in flight.

Gallery shots of the interior reveal a clean and upscale style that won't overwhelm the driver and passengers with too many buttons or knobs. Expect quality materials like brushed metals, soft leather, and a standard (and large) 12-inch display.

Lincoln is currently keeping quiet about the engine(s), but as more information comes out we'll be sure to update you, so keep following our blog! You can also contact us at Forrester Lincoln for further details.
